In the wake of growing tensions between India & China, India amended its FDI Policy to restrict investments from neighboring countries. Recently, it also released a press note banning 59 Chinese applications, with reports suggesting that the government is mulling a ban on other applications operating as ‘clones’ of these 59 applications.
