The Interim Budget for this year was a Vote on Account Budget considering that General Elections are scheduled this year. During the Budget speech, the Hon’ble Finance Minister summarised the initiatives taken by the Government in the last 10 years and the impact it had on the public, industry and the economic growth of the Country.
While there were no major changes on the policy and investment side, due to the interim nature of this budget, some of the proposals were targeted towards providing continuity for past initiatives.
